Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
You Listening? is a short-form facts channel on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. This policy covers the channel and "You Listening Publisher", the small private tool the channel owner uses to post the channel's own videos.
Viewers
We do not collect, store or sell personal data from people who watch our videos. Comments, likes and follows happen on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook and are handled under those platforms' own privacy policies.
What You Listening Publisher does
The tool is used only by the channel owner, only for the channel's own accounts. It uploads finished videos and their titles, descriptions and captions to:
- the You Listening? YouTube channel, using the YouTube Data API;
- the You Listening? Instagram professional account and Facebook Page, using the Meta Graph API.
It does not access any other person's account, messages, contacts or viewing history, and it is not offered to the public.
Google and YouTube data
With the owner's permission the tool uses two Google scopes: youtube.upload to upload videos, and
youtube.readonly to confirm the upload goes to the correct channel. The sign-in token is stored only on
the owner's own computer and is never shared or sent anywhere other than Google.
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By using YouTube features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Meta (Instagram and Facebook) data
The tool uses a Meta access token limited to publishing to, and reading basic details of, the channel's own Facebook Page and linked Instagram account. The token is stored only on the owner's computer. Meta's handling of data is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or share any data with anyone.
Removing access
Google access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Meta access can be removed in Meta Business Settings. Revoking access stops the tool immediately; the tokens stored on the owner's computer are then deleted.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change. Questions: send a message to @youlistening_facts on Instagram.
